The game will even keep all the statistics of which hostages you've rescued in each of the game's missions. Bearded soldiers that look suspiciously like Jim Henson need rescuing, and they'll reward you heartily with power-ups and other pick-ups.
The game is a balls-out side-scrolling action game just like every game in the Metal Slug series: run from left to right blasting all the enemies and vehicles that come your way with all the over-the-top firepower that you can pick up.
